Mexican Night

So Jessica and I decided that we needed to hava a mexican night so we could cook some awesome food. We went shopping on Thursday and found everything we needed and more. We had the dinner Friday at my house. We had tons of food and it was all awesome. Tacos de carne asada, al pastor, y chorizo, sopes, mole, horchata, jarritos, arroz con leche, flan, paneton, it was awesome. Here's some pics.

Awesome night. We'll definitely have to do another one with some lengua or chapolines. J/k about the chapolines.

Just Getting Started

Hey so I figured since half the family has a blog I might as well get one going too.

So last night my friend Jessica invited me to go to the Jazz game with the YSA ward. THe plan was to go down on Frontrunner which is something I'd never done and I was pretty nervous about it. The plan was to be at the Ogden station at 7 and so thats where I was. Then I got a call that they, Jessica and Ashley, would be a little late and to just meet them at the Roy station. So I headed back to Roy and met them there. There was a giant shovel and so we had some guys take a couple of pics for us. Then we loaded on the train and Jess had brought cards to keep us busy. We couldn't decide on a game and so I taught them how to play Mow. As usual it was frustrating and tons of fun. Got off in Salt Lake and hopped on trax to get to the ESA. The game was pretty fun. We were on the top row and there were a lot of people from the ward there to make it fun. I stayed there the whole game even when Ash and Jess went and met Thurl Bailey. They have all the cool pictures. Then we had quite an adventure getting back to the train. It would leave at 11:20 and we missed the trax by the ESA by like 30 seconds. So we started speed walkign to try and get to another trax station. After passing two stations and missing the trax our speed walk turned into a run. We had to go by Club Sound to get to the Train station and I was telling Jess and Ash about going there for concerts but to never go by there if there isn't one. Sure enough we got stopped by a guy who tried to convince us to go party. Luckily the crosswalk sign changed to "Walk" and we got away. We got on the train and sure enough it pulled away right at 11:20. We found a few friends to sit by and that was our adventure.
