I miss those days

Remember those days when there was always a friend right by your side.  They were always there to listen to a thought a comment, or the silence.  Remember when everything you did during the week pointed towards Sunday.  Everything built up for that day instead of that day building you up for the week.  Remember how you worked all day and made nothing.  Two cards took care of everything. One filled up the car and the other, though having hardly any money on it, always got you through the month. Remember the sea breeze when you just needed some peace.  There are few things that can clear your mind like looking out over the ocean.  Remember how stressful and full everyday was. Yet looking back you would give anything to have that kind of stress forever.  Remember how you had just one day during the week to take care of everything.  That day was never long enough, but you always got it done.  Remember knowing that a best friend was just a phone call away and they were always ready for an adventure when you needed it.  Those days and nights are impossible to forget.  Remember finding joy in the tiniest things.  In-n-Out napkins, scratching old lottery tickets, cheap chinese food, a torn green couch, a classroom size whiteboard, cookie dough, ihop, cheap chinese food.  Remember those days. I miss those days.
